Obituary of Russell Makaro

Russell Edward Makaro passed away at the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, June 8, 2018 at the age of 85 years. He was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan on February 20, 1933, the third son of six children born to John and Stella Makarewicz.

Russell is survived by: his loving wife and best friend, Carole; daughter, Marilyn (Allan) Nickless; son, Wade (Heather) Makaro; grandchildren, Andrew (Megan), Matthew (Tamara), Davis, Talina, Chelsey; and great granddaughters, Cecilia and Elizabeth Nickless.

Russell was predeceased by: his parents, John and Stella; his sisters, Elsie, Mary and Pauline.

The Service of Remembrance for Russell will be conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Donations in memory of Russell may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Foundation.
