It is hard to find the words that might bring you comfort at this time of loss but perhaps just knowing that I am thinking of you with sympathy and understanding will somehow help to give you strength at this difficult time. Take care Jack, Ben, Anna, and your grandparents. Mom and Dad are now guiding you from above.
Love,
Carmen Sperling

It saddens my heart deeply that my friend, Fozzy, and an incredible man like he, had to leave us all too soon for understanding.
This man was incredibly selfless, always taking care of everyonr before himself, helping whatever way he could....he was a wonderful dad and couldnt speak anything but amaxing stories about his kids, his late wife, and his family, I've been able to see firsthand the stories he told are true, he did a great job raising incredible kids, and im so sorry he cant continue that journey.
LES was probably one of my few truly good friends, real he was, never wanting anything in return for his kindness.
I wish i had the chance to say thanks for all hes brought me in my life, as his laugh was ond of a kind and his humor unmistaken, he was always joking around but serious at times necessary to do so.
Ill miss our rock competitions collecting the round ones, and the plans we had started making for time with our kids and the adventures life was going to take us all on; him coming by and id be unsure who was over until i heard clanging in the kitchen, as he was always surprising me with meals he wanted to see me enjoy after he cooked, and to be able to eat together.
My favorite moment is probably thr one of our first date meeting, his friend Todd decided he wanted them to go to my house and introduce themselves, friendship was instant for me and Fozzy, we shared an entire tub of vodka icecream, laughed til we couldnt talk, and then i fell asleep, when i woke up, i was being stared at but he was so excited to bring me shopping, i was a bit thrown by that one...he took me to home hardware to show me the fairies they had there, as i favor fairy gardens and build cities of them, and then to eat breakfast together, he surprised me with a honey tub and a honey comb candle, and im not sure if its me or him who likes honey more, but ill never forget this unforgettable time with him.
My very best, next in line to this one was when my Fozzily showed up out of nowhere telling me not to cry, that i was an unbelievable mom, and he would talk to my son, and he told me he just needed a man, not a mom at the moment, well when he came back he was pretty proud of his talk, confidence in the future being just fine; then he pulled out a charm for a necklace he had gotten for me that said "WORLDS BEST MOTHER".
Not gonna lie, i cried alot, for him being there that moment just being Les. I still dont know how he knew i was crying to begin with though, lol.
If i had asked for the moon, he would probably try.
I know we had plans for our boys' birthdays as they are only a day apart, july 15th/16th, and im so broken as to the timing of this unfortunate loss but
Ben, Jack, and Annastasia, please know that i didn't forget about you, and i do have something as well as for the boys i have a birthday gift when i see them next. Im thinking of all of you.
( I dont have a vehicle atm, otherwise i wouldve made a trip out to see you all and spend some time to share thoughts.)
I will always love your son Les (Fozzy), and I'll never be grateful enough for the light he has always brought to me and the time i was given. I am a bit thrown as to not having more time but that is my selfishness that i feel right now
I am truly sorry for your loss of a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a cousin, and especially as a dad to 3 incredible kids; may you Rest In Peace my friend, i do not know how to say goodbye.
I can never truly repay the selfless love and deep kindness always given to me from Les, but if there is any way i can take part or help out, do not be shy please!
My email is candivanooyen44@gmail.com, no phone atm so email anytime night or day, and i truly mean that.
This is a hard and difficult time for all who was in his life, but i cannot imagine how it must feel as a parent losing a child so soon, but i can imagine its pain.
My deepest sympathies, thoughts, and love to your family at this time of grievance and may you remember how much you brought into his life by being such supportive and loving parents, hes told many great stories and was proud of you both and you did an unbelievable job raising someone to be such a great man.
I understand where his love came from, he was one lucky guy, i imagine you would feel likewise to feeling grateful for the time you did have with him and someday you will unite again.
All my love and prayers, hugs and tears, im here for you in a heartbeat if you ever need anything. xo
