I did not know Christine but knew Mrs. Page as we used to be neighbours ....across the fields..and bought our eggs from her. I still have a bread cookbook she gave me once. On behalf of Jack & Helen Leighton our sincere condolences.

Page, I am so sad to hear of this great loss of your mom, Christine. Although I met Christine only once, it was a magical and deep experience for me to have had the opportunity to share a teeny bit of this lifetime with her. Deep condolences to you, and to all your family members for this loss.

I will so miss my true friend and kindred spirit, Christine. We were so attuned to each other that we could not talk to each other or see each other for months and then pick up our conversation like we talked 20 minutes ago. As you pass through life you don't often have the privilege to have such a friendship. My deepest condolences Page, Nolan and Linden; I know you are missing your Mom, Grandmother and Friend every day. You brought such joy into her life as she did into yours. We will all keep fond memories of her in our hearts.

Will be greatly missed by all near and far. My mom (Joan) spoke of Chris quite often, they would talk regularly and she would fill me on everything going on. I remember Chris quite well at a few gatherings - wonderful, kind lady and a great family. All our love - xoxo

I remember sharing an evening with you and your mom Page going to see Gordon Lightfoot. The evening started with supper where the conversation covered everything from fashion to hockey. Your mom was simply so interesting! We all sang along to the songs... Definitely a treasured moment in time. I hope to make it to the celebration.

I will forever cherish the long phone conversations I had with my “Canadian mom“, whom I “met” through my dear friend, Page. I used to work with Page and we became soul sisters. I knew Christine as “Mom” and she would call me out of the blue and we would talk forever. Just like Page and I talked and talked for hours on end. I live in Indiana, USA. We all have this familial bond that will continue until we are all with “Mom” once again and then some. I Love you Page and sending the biggest (((HUG))) I possibly can from 2000 miles away.

I will miss this wonderful Aunt immensely. Mostly I will miss the wonderful telephone conversations we had that usually sprang up out of nowhere. She had wonderful stories to tell and she was a great story teller. To Page, Linden and Nolan I can't say, in any words, how sorry I am for your loss. It was truly wonderful to have known you Aunt Chris

My thoughts are with you all with the loss of this graceful soul. It was with Mrs. Penney that I first realized you can never smile too much - and what a beautiful smile she wore.
