Obituary of Norman Johnson

Norman John Johnson passed away peacefully at the Wainwright Health Centre on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at the age of 86 years. 

Norman was born August 19, 1932, at his parents farm home in the Roros district located north of Chauvin, AB. He was the sixth child born to Samund and Berit Johnson. 

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carol; His son Neil and wife Stacy Johnson of Chauvin, AB; His precious Grand-daughter Leah of Lloydminster, SK: As well as three special little girls Isabel Buck, Olenia Pawliuk and Keira Pawliuk as he was their Grandpa J which he considered a real honor; his brother in law Ken Nelson of McLaughlin, AB; A special cousin, Dennis Nelson and his wife Jean of McLaughlin, AB. As well as his nieces, nephews, many close family friends and his family in Norway and the USA. 

Norman was predeceased by his precious son, Wayne Stanley Johnson on March 10, 2016; His parents, Samund and Berit Johnson; His sister, Selma Sorenson; and brothers Jarvin, Clifford, Morris and Willie Johnson.

The Funeral Service for Norman will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM.

Donations in memory of Norman may be made to Charity of Choice.
