Although the Family will not know us, we feel we'd like to say a word or two in Memory of Bruce. He was an Icon at all the Bull Sales we attended for many, many years. A face we all looked for and appreciated, for the Services he provided. Many of us were on a first name basis with Bruce for many years, and he was acutely missed when he no longer could attend the Sales. Our Deepest Sympathy goes out to the Family. Rest In Peace Bruce.

Mary and family, our sincere condolences to all of you. Bruce was always full of fun. His birdhouses are on many fences posts in the countryside,. He had many birdhouses at the Myrnam bull sales, over the years, which were always sold for a great cause. Bruce was at our bull sale in Vermilion one year, when we had a live old time band playing , With dancing. The year later we bought a bull in Spiritwood, Sask. Bruce was blockman and made a comment “ there will be dancin’ in the kitchen here tonight! “. Those words will never be forgotten!!

We had the pleasure of meeting Bruce and Mary this summer while getting groceries at Maidstone. We had a long chat with them about old times, old memories, and people long past. Bruce was very proud of all his kids and grandchildren, and brought us up to speed about the achievements of each one. It seemed fitting that at the end of our visit, Bruce gave us two birdhouses to mount at our cabin.
Everyone knows that Bruce struggled (as we all do), to make sense of the tragedies that come our way. We pray that Bruce has found the peace and contentment that he so desired in life.
Mary and family..you should be proud of Bruce for his tenacity and commitment to his family. We will remember Bruce with every birdhouse on every fence post that we see.
