Obituary of Iona Leighton

Iona Beryl Leighton passed away at the Pioneer House, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 89 years.

Iona is survived by: her daughter, Georgina (Ed ) Pashniak; son, Ken (Colleen) Leighton; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Melva Doull, Judy (Alvin) Nordquist and Paulette (Gary) Mathison; one brother-in-law, Jack (Helen) Leighton; two sisters-in-law, Helen (Roy) Espetveidt, Oni Leighton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Iona was predeceased by: husband, Bill Leighton; and two infant sons.

The Funeral Service for Iona will be conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 am.

The Interment will be held at Marwayne Cemetery, Marwayne, Alberta on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:15 pm.

Donations in memory of Iona may be made to the Marwayne Cemetery Fund.
