Obituary of Cliff Skeates

It is with great sadness that we announce that on January 12, 2019 Clifford (Cliff) Charles Skeates loving husband, dad and grandpa passed away at the age of 70 years. Cliff passed after his long fought battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.

Clifford was born October 20, 1948 in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. He had a passion for sports, growing up playing competitive hockey and fastball to coaching his daughters and being his grandchildren's number one fan.  Family meant the world to Cliff and he leaves them many wonderful memories. 

Cliff will be dearly missed by: his loving wife, Doreen; his daughters, Danylle (Kevin) Breen and Dana (Aaron) Lines; the joys of his life were his grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Lauryn, Brielle and Evan; loved by his sisters, Marion (Elburn) Freimark and Elaine (Dale) Chauncey; his brother-in-law, Glenn Heggstrom; his nephew, Trevor (Jennifer);  and his niece Treena (Dave).

The Memorial Service for Cliff will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Cliff may be made to KidSport or Cross Cancer Institute.
