Obituary of Ella Nelson

BIOGRAPHY NELSON ~ Ella Nelson passed away peacefully in the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the age of 89 years. Ella will be sadly missed by her son Dennis and Jean Nelson; grandson Darren and Jamie Nelson; three great grandchildren; one brother Gib Thoresen as well as numerous other relatives. The memorial service was conducted from the Zion Lutheran Church, Dina District, Alberta on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Quinn Adams officiating. Interment was held in the Zion Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that have cared for Ella over the years. Thank you to Pastor Quinn Adams for officiating such a beautiful service. Thank you to the Zion Ladies for the wonderful lunch they prepared. Thank you to all who sent cards, flowers and made donations in Ella’s memory. A special thank you goes out to Carol Johnson for all of her help during our time of need. We would also like to thank Glenn McCaw and McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. for their compassionate guidance and assistance.
