Obituary of Erwin Capuno

To pursue a better life, Erwin, tried to go miles away to Canada together with his fiancé, Rodalyn. The couple came to Calgary, in June 23, 2010 as landed immigrants where they weren't able to seek for stable jobs. Luckily, Erwin was able to find jobs in Lloydminster, Alberta and was employed by Hancock Petroleum Inc. and Tim Horton's by July 2010. Born in April 21, 1981, Erwin served in a government hospital in Angeles City, Philippines as a registered nurse for 3 years. Erwin envisioned himself to become an RN in Canada someday and having two jobs to start his goals was his action to hasten all his dreams. Barely 2 months of being in Canada, his life-long ambitions were halted by a tragic accident that took his breath on August 20, 2010. Erwin will be missed by his loving family and friends; Parents: Benjamin and Gloria Capuno, Siblings: Blessie and Carlo Vien Capuno and especially by his fiance, Rodalyn Morales. His family would like to extend their heart felt gratitude to all the people, friends and relatives who remembered him and everyone who offered prayers and financial contributions so his remains may be sent back home to the Philippines. Erwin's family is also grateful to the Filipino community of Lloydminster for the good camaraderie they have shown to him especially during these difficult times, to his Petro Canada family who gave him the first opportunity to work in Lloydminster, to his Tim Horton's family as his second job. A special thanks to the people in Canada he shared friendships with: Ian & Jean Fernandez, Arjay Blando, Rodel, Chona, Laarni and Mark (from Calgary).
