Obituary of Kelly Janus

Kelly Cornelia Janus passed away at the Maidstone Health Complex, Maidstone, Saskatchewan, February 26, 2019 at the age of 51 years.

Kelly was the third of four kids  born to Willie and Evelyn Janus. She spent most of her life around Maidstone , venturing off once in awhile to take a job elsewhere. Kelly was mom to Kolby, her biggest and most challenging job, but also her most rewarding. She tried many other  jobs, waitress, convenience store, emergency medical technician, special care aid, oilfield  operator, bobcat operator and lastly she was the acting town foreman ( she preferred to be called Team Leader). It did not matter what Kelly did or where she was she made friends. Kelly had a great sense of humor and an infectious belly laugh.  She was a grateful member of AA and with almost 6 years sober was loving her new and improved life. Family was important to her and she enjoyed the family gatherings. Kelly will be greatly missed.

The Funeral Service for Kelly will be conducted from the Legion Hall, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, March 4, 2019 at 2:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Kelly may be made to the Thorpe Recovery Centre Treatment Fund.
