I remember all the loving hours spent with you; you loving on my children. Playing like a teenage girl. Tickling until noone could stand it no more. Your never-ending water fights even if it meant scrubbing the entire kitchen! The long talks. The sharing of gardening skills - I didn't have many so this must have seemed like an uphill battle for you. I think both your thumbs were more than green! I remember your patience with crying sick grandchildren, your wise advice to heal them and your perseverance to calm their little pain and crying. Everything about this woman was LOVE and Mothering! No greater gift could God give anyone around her! Even children in her neighborhood called her Grandma! A great tribute to who she was. Although a small part of her was fearful, she never showed this to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She waited by her window for a visit from any of them. Her love lives on in my heart, never to be forgotten but to be cherished and remembered forever!
