“Age 67, died peacefully in hospital on July 1st after complications from a radioactive spider bite that led to years of crime-fighting and a year long battle with a nefarious criminal named Cancer, who has plagued our society for far too long.
Civilians will recognize him best as Spider-Man, and thank him for his many years of service protecting our city. He hid his Identity well as a yard supervisor at Precision Well Servicing for many years.
His family knew him only as a kind and mild-mannered Big Brother, a kind-hearted man with t-shirts and the right thing to say (even if it was wildly inappropriate).
Drago was known for his long, entertaining stories, which he loved to repeat often.
You should know Drago was a comic book aficionado (Conan the barbarian was his fave), a pop-culture encyclopedia and always the most fun person at any party.
He will be missed, a great and fun brother, first girlfriend Mary Jane Watson, Gwen Stacy and his nephew Eli, who will grow up to avenge his uncle’s untimely death.”

It is with great sadness that we hear of Carl’s passing. We became good friends at our workplace. We would always watch for your car as we passed by your home. We noticed it had not moved much in the last couple of months. If only we had know you were not well we would have spent some time visiting you. What a shock. Rest In Peace our dear friend our deepest sympathy to all of Carl’s family

Dear Carl, my fondest memories with you:
- I always knew you as Carl not Drago, and I remember calling you at work, asking to speak with you. After awkward silence and a bunch of mmm's and hmmmm's, I practically shouted "no, Drago!", because they informed me that there was no Carl that worked there!
- I remember your stories about Croatia and by looking at you it appeared that you missed your home country.
- I remember other stories you told, especially the one about the woman in the washroom......on the plane (but, I'm not sharing the rest of that story). Oh how we all howled in laughter! I couldn't even look at Carol because that would set me off hysterically laughing again!!
- I will always remember and be thankful for taking care of my sister. You brought her much joy and an infinity of love, real love.
- I remember your kindness to me as my health was beginning to slow me down.
Just a few thoughts, but we know there's many more stories and gestures you shared with us.
I am so glad that you've finally got your wish to be with your one true love......my sister Carol.
Here's to raw bacon and rescuing Macak from the frightening plastic bag......omg the scratches!! To arguing football......but I suppose green and white was running through your veins.....I still bleed green and gold!! Together we shared a ton of laughter, a boatload of tears and sadness, and good times all around.
Fondly remembered,
Wendy

My dear friend,
For a while, we lived our years together on that train of life. We boarded as children, growing up together, you, your brother and I. We ran through the meadows, float in the streams, swing on the willow branches and explore our woods. We used to hide in the bajer, watch the stars in the summer nights, looking for space ships. We played hide and seek through all our neighbours back yards, on top of chicken coops and in most unusual places we could find. We would go in search for snowdrops in early spring or for mushrooms later on in the year. Every day was an adventure and every day was a joy.
Unfortunately, the train of life took us in different directions and for a while there, we were separated. We got back together in the twilight of our lives and found that the days of our childhood are still unchanged, live in our hearts and our minds as if we were living them all over again. We had great plans to go home together and once again walk the paths of our childhood.
It was not meant to be. You stepped off the train way to soon and I will go on until we meet again.
