Some of the nurses that worked at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care in the past with Joyce reminisced about her this week. We all enjoyed her sense of humour, her hard work ethic and her common sense approach to life. Because she had trained as a nurse in England prior to coming to Canada, her professional skills were an asset in her daily work with the residents of the Dr. Cooke. We always looked forward to having her on our shift as she was a joy to work with!
