Leo John Ganie passed away at the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, October 26, 2019 at the age of 83 years.

Leo was raised on the farm near Tramping Lake. He married Victoria Herle on October 28, 1959. Together they raised 4 children. In 1996 they moved to an acreage near Saskatoon. In 2010 they moved to Lloydminster, Alberta. His greatest joy came from dancing and spending time in his shops creating pieces that will be treasured by all who were gifted with his creations. Leo is survived by his daughter, Brenda (Allan) Romanowski and family Melissa, Mark (fiance Danette Willford) & Kyle; son, Terry (Susan) Ganie and family Sheldon (Nicole) and children Madison & Teagan; Stacey (Kelly) and children Jordyn, Hudsyn & Memphys; Stephanie and child Teairra; daughter, Cheryl (Randy) Scherr and family Lindsay (Reagan) and child Olivia; Janelle (Mark) and children Luca and Kash; Chelsea; Kayla and child Emrie; daughter, Shelly (John) Kruger; sisters, Angela Schell, Anne (Ed) Pooke, Carol Ganie; brother, Mervin Ganie; numerous nieces and nephews. Leo was predeceased by loving wife, Victoria in 2014; parents, Andrew in 1981 & Theresa Ganie in 1998; infant daughter, Donna Ganie in 1960; great-grandaughters, Emma Surine in 2015 & Addison Surine in 2016; brother, Ray Ganie in 2015, brother-in-law, Fred Schell in 1998.

The Funeral Service for Leo will be conducted from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Tramping Lake, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM.
