It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and sister, Joyce Eva Currie on December 21, 2019 at the age of 73 years.
Joyce is survived by: her son, Dean (Ronalda); daughter, Brenda; five grandchildren, Rochelle(Bobby), Jade, Joseph(Harley), Brianne, and Ashleigh; one great-grandson, Ryder; five siblings, Irene, Gladys, Norman, Andy(Elvina), Gabe(Nan); sisters-in-law, Darlene and Florence; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joyce was preceded by: her father, Joseph; mother, Agnes; brothers and sisters, Harvey, George, Romeo, Madeline, Amo, Mary, Victor, Bertha, and Philip.
We would like to thank all family and friends that helped mom throughout her journey. Thank you to the nurses and doctors on the palliative care unit, home care and all the staff at Metis Housing.
A Celebration of Life for Joyce will be conducted from Moose Hall, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
