Thank you Art for being so kind always and so patient and for going out of your way to find ways to help. You were such a good kind soul. You never looked down at anyone. You even apologized profusely for that cretin Andy, who was a heartless hate-filled COP. The community could have understood his humiliation at being left for a well, everyone know that old nugget, shameful but no reason to take it out on female patients. But there was Art, being kind to everyone and understanding we all have pain and sorrow unlike BowWow Bowdan who thought he was better than anyone else because he married a Dr. But that did go a bit funny and I guess he resented picking up her laundry. Farewell Andy, you were a true gentleman.

I graduated with Art in Pharmacy at the University of Saskatchewan. He was always so entertaining and funny, and we all managed to have some great times. They were really good years. My husband Ken and I had known Art since high school, and saw Art and Margaret at the Pharmacy reunions. We also visited Art in his Pharmacy in Lloydminster, and had a visit with Michelle and Dwayne Classen at that time. We will miss Art. He had so much energy and verve. Our thoughts are with Art, and his family at this sad time.

Peggy and Family.
I was most saddened to learn of Art's passing. Despite the occasional "debatable differences!* which he and I had, I know that i have lost a true and enduring friend. Indeed his passing was to soon and I will miss visiting with him. My sincere condolences to you and all of your Family.
Best,
Julian Bodnar

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of my friend, Art. Art and I became very good buddies ( a scary duo) from the late 70's and continued our friendship throughout the years ahead. Art and I enjoyed lots of 'interesting' times, discussions and transitions. He was my best friend and I had always admired Art for his enthusiasm for life, entrepreneurial spirit, honesty and encouragement of others. It was difficult for me to see his health deteriorate so quickly and I was always holding out the hope that his situation would improve. Alas, life is full of uncertainty and each of us can now reflect and cherish the unique memories we have of being associated with Art. My prayers and sentiments of sorrow are extended to Margaret, Hannah, Jane and Paula and all of the extended family members. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4).

Sorry for your loss. Art and I were classmates from the class of 71. I saw Art last Friday. Art held my hand and squeezed it. I could feel Art’s pain. I am honoured to have had Art as a friend. Robert Janowski
