I met Kathy in the late 1980’s when she worked as a volunteer for the Dorian Dorcas Society at the Dr. Cooke Nursing Home in Lloydminster. What an absolute joy to know! A most diligent worker with such a positive and loving attitude.
“Many women do noble things but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honour her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
Proverbs 31: 29-31
Condolences to the family.

Kathy will be sorely missed. I hope the memories that others share with you in the coming days will bring some smiles to your faces and ease the pain of your loss. My sincere sympathies to Kathy's family. I have only known Kathy for about 5 years. First met her at the DCEC when my Mom moved in there. Then when Ken and my Mom were moved to the LCC in 2015, the call went out to form an auxiliary. She was one of the founding members! She provided invaluable advice to all of us as she drew on her auxiliary experiences at the DCEC. And for the first while, she made sure we could borrow coffee urns and cash boxes from them until we had enough funds to purchase our own. I was very thankful to have her guiding us along! Thank-you again Kathy! May you rest in peace.

Please accept my condolences. I was sad to hear of Kathys passing - she was such a lovely person. I bowled with Kathy and Ken many, many years ago. Both were such fun! Through all the years since, whenever we would meet up, usually in the grocery store, they always had time for a visit. Treasure your memories and they will stay close to your heart.
