Obituary of Betty Orr

BIOGRAPHY Orr ~ Betty Eileen Orr passed away peacefully in the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre in Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Betty will be sadly missed by her husband Bill of Lloydminster; brothers: George Craig of Unity, Saskatchewan, Richard Craig of Langley, British Columbia; sister Maxine Thomson of St. Albert, Alberta as well as numerous other relatives. The memorial service was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Harold Martin officiating. The hymns sung were "Amazing Grace" and "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. Grace United Church Choir was in attendance. Special music was "Spanish Eyes". The Honorary Pallbearers were: Members of the Forresters. Interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The Orr family would like to thank Reverend Harold Martin, Irene Knowlson and the choir for the beautiful service for Betty. Thank you to the Grace United Church Women for the delicious lunch they prepared. A special thank you to all who made donations, sent flowers and sympathy cards in memory of Betty. Your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. Also, thank you to McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., for administering the funeral arrangements.
