Steffie Holot of Edmonton, formerly from Lloydminster, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 84 on March 2, 2020.

Steffie came to Canada in 1964 at age 29 to pursue her dreams and becoming a Canadian citizen on May 9, 1974. She worked for Levi Strauss & Co. (GWG) for over 33 years until her retirement in 2000.

Steffie is survived by her sister, Olga (Steve) Shostak and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and relatives of which many are still living in Bosnia (formerly Yugoslavia), Australia and Germany.

Steffie was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Juri and sisters, Veronica and Katica.

The Divine Liturgy for Steffie will be conducted from Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM.

Memorial donations in Steffie's honor can be made to Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukranian Catholic Church c/o Father Mike Bombak or the donor's charity of choice.
