BIOGRAPHY BLACK ~ Charles "Charlie" Herbert Black passed away peacefully in the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre in Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Charlie will be sadly missed by wife of 54 years, Rena; children: Carrie and Gordon, Shelley, Kirk, Don; grandchildren: Cam, Denise, Duncan and Erin, Paynton, Ryon; great grandchildren: Clair and Sully as well as numerous other relatives. The memorial service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Michael Stonhouse officiating. A eulogy was given by his children Don and Shelley. Leader of song was Marlene Risling accompanied on the organ by Donna Weston. The solos sung were "The Lord's Prayer" and "On Eagles Wings". The honorary pallbearers were All Those Who Shared In Charlie's Life. Interment was held at the Paynton Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Thank you to the staff at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Jubilee Home, Lloydminster Hospital, Battlefords District Care Centre and Battlefords Union Hospital. Thank you to all those who donated to various charities, sent flowers and brought food. Thank you to the McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. staff, especially Glenn, Dean, Joel, Dave, Carol and Amanda.
