To the Gibbs family;
I wanted to remind you of the time your morher rescued my mother and sister after a car accident. She was a hero. This would gave taken place about 1965.
My sister Diane was driving our Mom to work when they went off the road and were both injured, Diane had a concussion and a bad cut to her forehead. My mother was also bleeding from a head injury and had a broken leg.
No cell phones then, so Diane walked back to Monica’s place.
I remember Diane was wearing a white trench coat, so Monica would have opened the door to the sight of Diane with her bloody coat.
Monica took charge, tended to the injuries and got them to the hospital. We were very grateful for her efficient action.

Hello to all of Monica’s family, My three sisters and myself, The Allen Sisters, sang in Islay when Monica was there. She enjoyed it so much, sang every old song with us. She was so proud of her family and the music. . I told her I had danced to “ Second Nature “. years ago, She beamed! Hold on to the memories, they will smooth the sorrow.
