Obituary of Erma Edwards

Erma Edwards of Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, passed away at the Jubilee Home on
Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the age of 92 years.
Erma is survived by her children, Carole (Elmer) Schneider of Sundre, Alberta; Dorothy
(Ken) Fennig of Lloydminster, Sask., and Jim (Audrey) Edwards of Nanton, Alberta;
her grandchildren: Daphne Jones, Dawn (Brian) Heppell, Wade Fennig, Nadine (Chris)
Hubick, Jennifer (Roy) Coffman and Ryan (Nicole) Edwards; great grandchildren:
Brennan and Carson Jones, Brooklynn Heppell, Dilyn and Addison Hubick, Haleigh
and Shay White, her sister, Hilda (Forrest) Pederson and brothers Hilton Hughes and
Barclay (Becky) Jones. Erma was predeceased by her husband, Don, in 2006 and
by her brothers, Walter and Melvin Hughes and sister, Margaret Kraus.
The funeral service was conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta, on
Monday, June 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Sue Hertell officiating. The hymns
sung were Softly and Tenderly, In the Garden and Beyond The Sunset with Margaret
Venance-Ostrom as organist.
The pallbearers were grandchildren and great grandchildren: Daphne Jones, Brennan
and Carson Jones, Dawn and Brian Heppell, Wade Fennig, Nadine and Chris Hubick,
Jennifer Coffman and Ryan Edwards.
The eulogy was given by grandson, Wade Fennig, with a tribute by granddaughter, Dawn
Heppell.
Interment was at the Lloydminster City Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service of Lloydminster, Alberta, administered the funeral arrangements.

The family of Erma Edwards would like to express their appreciation for the flower
arrangements, cards, phone calls, emails, food and memorial donations. Thanks to
Dr. Snyman for her kindness and care of Mom over the years. Thank you to Reverend
Sue Hertell for her words of comfort, to Margaret Venance-Ostrom for playing at the
service and to Glen McCaw and the staff of McCaw Funeral Service for their caring and
professional assistance and to the Grace United Church ladies for the lovely lunch.
A special thanks to the staff of the Jubilee Home for taking such good care of Mom over
the past 3 years.
