I've just learned of Ruby's passing even though she has been gone a year now.
My condolences on the loss of your sister.
I worked with Ruby twice in my military career, once in Winnipeg and again in Wainwright. She was a good mentor who never hesitated to give you good advice, if you wanted it. Her prior experience and life lessons worked well for her. We got along decently well, most of the time and I always considered her a very proficient Administration Clerk who was dedicated to her military life and the trade. I know she regretted extending her career in Wainwright as the physical training was getting too much for her. We never liaised again after I left Wainwright so I hope the succeeding years were good to her. The Administration Trade and the Canadian Forces benefitted from her dedication. Lest We Forget.
