Coleen and I were both very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. From the first time I met him (after he offered me a corner of his shop to work on my '58 Buick back in 1984), Bill was a generous friend who always seemed to have an interesting vehicle purchase or a project on the go. Over the years, I always enjoyed our conversations at the hall, at the mud drags, or in front of the post office. Bill was a fixture in the Neilburg community, and will be missed by many.

My favorite memory of Bill was when we were all in Texas at Brittany's wedding, the karaoke was out and Bill sang " Sign of the times" by Harry Styles... it was beautiful! I also very much enjoyed make the family sausage years ago with all of you at the shop... I was very impressed how clean the huge shop was and I remember him smiling and watching young Tessa riding her bike around the machinery, she caught her training wheels on a peice of equipment laying on the ground, he just gave a good Bill laugh... love to you all.

Laura, Alex and Family, Shaun, Leslee and family, Laurie, Lars and Family, please accept our most sincere condolences on Bill's passing. I have many memories of Bill at the arena or at the ball diamonds when we were growing up, always lending a hand with the teams we were on. He was a great supporter of the community who was always willing to donate his time or equipment to help out a cause whenever it was needed. I will miss his visits to the garage to pick up parts for the many projects that he would always have on the go. He was a great customer and also a friend. You could always see the pride that he had in his grandchildren whenever he talked about them. Cherish all of the memories and know that we are thinking of you all during this most difficult time.

Laura-May, Lori, Sean and Alex, my sincere condolences for the loss of Bill. It is always difficult, however, I hope you find solace in knowing that Bill went hard until he didn’t. Hard driving A-types deserve that kind of end. Hockey and skidoo rallies will always remind me of him when growing up in Neilburg.

I’m sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. May your many memories comfort you during this time. I had to smile, Laurie, at your mention of the snowmobile. I think that was Bill’s preferred method of transportation during the winter. I remember being picked up by snowmobile for my babysitting duties. We went across fields I had never been in before. It put a new spin on babysitting.

I didn't know Bill well, but when I dealt with him over the parts counter he was always smiling, pleasant and polite. A gentleman in every sense of the word. Deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Bill.
