Obituary of Brian Kientz

Brian James Kientz passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the age of 73 years.

Brian enjoyed life. He enjoyed a challenge and would often be found climbing all over a piece of equipment that crossed his path. He enjoyed the company of people and spent much time sharing his life experiences. 

He was the youngest of thirteen and learned a lot and cherished his time with his family. 

His three girls rounded off his life with Germaine, his wife of 54 years. Their families grew. Being grandfather and great-grandfather was a title he enjoyed. He spent the last few years of his life battling cancer but still continued enjoying his job and carrying on fishing, hunting and putzing on his acreage. 

He'd say, "Who wouldn't enjoy driving all over in a brand new truck at someone else's expense?"

His passing leaves a huge hole in our lives with only memories to hold dear. 

A private family service in memory of Brian will be held.

Donations in memory of Brian may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
