Obituary of Bill Maylor

William "Bill" Allen Maylor of Lloydminster, AB passed away at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre on August 10, 2020 at the age of 80 years. 

Bill was born in Sardis, BC to Robert and Ellen Maylor on December 15, 1939. He was in the Canadian Armed Forces for 10 years. Worked for Water Survey in the Yukon and British Columbia for 10 years. Returned to the Yukon as an electrician for the hospital and nursing stations in the Yukon until his early retirement in 1992. He enjoyed camera and computer repair and traveling. In his later years seeing his great grandchildren brought him great joy. 

Bill is survived by: children, Chris (Mary) Maylor of Star, Idaho, Kim (Wes) Thurlow of Neilburg, SK; grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa), Kirsten, Daniel (Rachel), Darien (Lisa), Amber; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Kai, Brantley, Brooklyn, and Kaylee; sister, Irene (Dave) Wright. 

Bill was predeceased by: his first wife, Freda (Neville) (2008), and his second wife, Ruth (Schwartz) (2017); mother, Ellen Laine; father, Robert Maylor. 

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, no service will be held. 

Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
