Stephanie had the kindest heart, miles of patience and was the most community minded person I had ever met.
She never seemed to be in a hurry and always had time for a quick chat.
I'm going to miss those chats, which were often about flowers, veggies, gardens, berries.
My first memory of Stephanie is when we crossed paths on Main Street in Edam. Her son was very small, and she was carrying him in a baby carrier on her front.
He was looking all around and wide eyed.
I had asked at what age he started holding his head up so well as my daughter who is a few months younger had not done so yet.
We chatted a bit and then went our separate ways.
We traded and shared garden goodies from time to time, which was always greatly appreciated.

Where to begin......Growing up with Steph we spent countless hours through the good and bad times leaving so many - now precious memories - hanging out at the old Esquirol Farm, the cabin in Meota with her parents,Natalie, Trevor and all the kids. Steph would prepares to gather us friends and family. Steph spent time with me in the hospital when I was learning how to being a new Mom. I was honored when she asked me to do her hair and make up for her wedding. And the time we spent just simply being together and visiting.
She was my dear friend who traveled the world but she was sure to visit when she was back home. When Steph became a wife and mother she loved nothing more and we always joked how she then found it hard to leave Edam.
Steph had the ability to accept everyone no matter their beliefs, which is why it was so easy for everyone to spend time with her, remember and love her.
Stephanie has touched so many people, she was truly an amazing woman and with her infectious smile and laugh could lite up a dark room, She is gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
Curtis, Braxton, Elie, Uma, Hubert, Trevor and family Our deepest sympathy, we wish you healing and peace and hope you know you are surrounded by so much love.
Ashley, Adam, Rhett, Ali and Dane Lesmeister
