Ruth and I would like to extend our sympathy to all the MacGregor family! Huguette was a special person in my life growing up in Edam! She was my mom's best friend and the mother to my best friend Marcel (Pots)
She described us as Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn but the words she used to describe our adventures cannot be used here!!!! But when she did , it was always with a smile,, (at least most always)
I can see her in heaven now telling Marcel not to ride over the arches on Heaven's Bridges with his bike! I can also see her having a cup of coffee with mom and those 2 talking about the NY Yankees and Mom's Dodgers!
God Bless you Huguette--With all our Love Ruth and Keith

Thank you so much for sharing the funeral service on line. I sang with Huguette for many years and miss her dearly. She was so very proud of the recording she made of the Christmas Carols at the chapel gallery with her grand daughter accompanying her on the piano. It was wonderful to hear the recording at the service. My sincere condolences to all of her family as you go through the journey of grief.

Memories of Hugette will last for many years. She was one of Mom's best friends, ranging from high school years in Edam where they experimented with makeup one Friday afternoon only to be met by Principal Hardcastle's firm sentencing of a rather exhaustive and lengthy essay due on Monday morning. Mom laughed at and cursed the judgement. I will fondly remember Hugette's singing and in particular her rendition of Ava Marie that so many of us heard and enjoyed as we said good bye to friends and family. To the family, we are praying and thinking of you and hope that memories of your mother will help during this difficult time. I hope Hugette has found a curling team.
Love from Murray and Cheryl Hardcastle

My sympathy to Huguette’s Family, one of my fondest memories of Huguette was going to Funerals, Weddings or other occasions and the soloist was always Huguette! She had a very powerful, beautiful voice ! One of my favorite songs she sang was “ O Holy Night” at Christmas! I will remember Huguette as a very capable , ambitious , hard working lady!! RIP Huguette!

I will always, always have so many great memories of Mrs Mac. Growing up around and in their house and her open door, open arm policy at their house like a few others I frequented was special. She would say well one more when you have this many really doesn’t matter does it. I don’t think I was ever around her when she didn’t have a smile or a laugh or a funny story to tell. And she did have the best laugh!! Once in awhile maybe a mild swear word. Lol! Will miss seeing this very special lady or I should say “ other Mom “ around Edam. ❤️ Our deepest condolences to all her family and extended family like me.

Our deepest sympathies to all of Huguette's Family and Friends. Huguette was a special part of both of our lives. Next door neighbour to Harry's family, Mother of Harry's best childhood friend, organist and soloist at the church where I was raised, fellow co-worker at the Edam Credit Union and life long friend. Huguette will always have a special place in our hearts, as she will in the hearts of her family and friends. May your fond memories bring you comfort, and may she rest in peace. Our love, Harry and Frances
