Shirley Dallyn

Obituary of Shirley Dallyn

Please share a memory of Shirley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Shirley Patricia Dallyn on Friday October 30, 2020.  She was born to Ansel and Florence Thompson (Moncrief) on May 1, 1937 in Provost AB.  Shirley loved deeply and she was dearly loved by her daughter Evelyn Roethlingshoefer (David); Brent Dallyn (Suezette); grandchildren, Ashlee Olson (Chris), Amber Morin (Justin), Breanne Lazerte (Justin), Carlee Clark (Jason),  Justin Roethlingshoefer (Alyse Gaulin), Christie Roethlingshoefer; seven great grandchildren Ryley & Mason Morin, Jayden & Jax Olson, Brayah & Anna Lazerte, and Aubrey Clark.

In this sad time, we take comfort knowing Shirley is now with her Lord and will be reunited with her loving husband Duane Dallyn, her favorite brother Allan Thompson, her parents Ansel and Florence Thompson, as well as numerous family and friends who have gone on before her to welcome her home!

Shirley will be forever remembered for her gentle loving touch, the countless hours spent at hockey rinks, her faithfulness to her church community and the compassionate care she provided to friends and neighbors.

Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Doctors and all the staff on Palliative Care Unit 43 at the Grey Nuns Hospital and at the Lloydminster Regional Health Centre.  Your care and kindness given to Shirley and our family is so deeply appreciated!

A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held on Thursday November 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Lloydminster Gospel Fellowship Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, registration is necessary. Please RSVP using the following link.
