Obituary of Norma Sim
Norma Mildred Sim passed away peacefully at the Jubilee Home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the age of 86 years.
Norma was born to Hervert & Margaret Mills (nee Jamieson) on June 8, 1934 at NE-8-54-25-W3.
Norma was loved dearly by: her husband, Harold Sim; her family, Daniel Spence, Johnny Lee and Taras Futerko, Donald Spence (Allyson) Logan and Morgan, Kenneth Spence (Marlene) Colin (Erin), Stephanie (Brock) Bargen, Sarah and Ian, Margaret Meagher (Kevin), Ryan (Michelle), Kimberly (Jesse) Halpenny, Bailey (Connor) Creech and William Spence (Lisa) Dalton and Alex; and seven great grandchildren.
Norma was predeceased by: her sons, Allan and Dan Spence; parents, Hervert and Margaret Mills; and brother, Bert Mills.
Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to Dr. du Plooy and staff at Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Your care and kindness given to Norma and our family is so deeply appreciated over the past 7 years.
A Celebration of Norma’s Life will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM CST at All Saints Anglican Church, Fort Pitt, Saskatchewan. Please note this is Saskatchewan time. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the seating at the church will be held for immediate family only. Family and friends are welcome to join at the gravesite service at Fort Pitt.
The service will be aired on 103.5 FM within 1 KM of the church. The service will also be live streamed and posted on the McCaw Funeral Service website under Norma’s obituary at the time of the service.
Please be advised that the finalized recording will be posted on our website 2 weeks after the Celebration of Life.
Donations in memory of Norma may be made to the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation or donor's charity of choice.
