My deepest sympathy to Wendy and her siblings. Tina is now at peace, free from pain and in gods care. I will miss that great smile and visits we had. She never complained about anything or anyone. She was such a kind and soft spoken lady. She will be missed by all who knew her. Heaven has gained another angel. God bless you all. Elsie Malka

Tena's Family,
So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. We got to enjoy times with Tena after we moved into Padua Place. My husband Dave knew the family from when he lived in the Neilburg- Masden area.
Your mom was such a positive person to be around--always smiling & she always made the day brighter. We shared many walks together. Her puffed wheat cake was the best!!
Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you!

I worked with Tina for many years at the Interval store, she was a lot of fun to be around and loved to tell stories. She would come to the store around 10 am and stay til after lunch then head home, she was committed to the store and its mandate. She had her own special corner in the back to work at and when she finished for the day her station would be left very tidy. I will miss Tina, a lovely woman to know. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with and get to know her.

Wendy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was truly one of the best mom's I've known. Mother's like Tena are why songs like Good Mother were penned. I've chosen a version of Good Mother by Terri Clark especially in honour of your mom. Sending hugs and love to you all.

Wendy and Barry, your mother was a very dear and special friend. We first met 15 years ago volunteering at the interval store. We shared many stories, hugs and laughs together. She was like a second mother to me. She will always hold a place in my heart. I truly loved her and will miss her dearly.

My condolences and thoughts to Tena’s family! I met Tena through ‘For the Interval’ Store. She always made a point to chat with me about life, family and the happenings at the store. She was always willing to share a chuckle and put a smile on my face whenever I saw her. She was a great volunteer and an amazing contributor to LIHS. We’ll miss you Tena!
