Ken and Jean were one of the first people I got to know when I came to Lloydminster in the summer of 1971. I met them because I joined a Lloydminster travelling fastpitch team, known as "The Borderettes". Jean also a played on this team. As I did not know the area around Lloydminster at all, Ken and Jean took me under their wing and shuttled to me to every out of town game that season. (Such places as Dewberry, Elk Point, Vermilion, Marwayne, etc.) I will always be thankful for their kindness in keeping me safe and constantly introducing me to Lloydminster and area. Ken has always been one to step up and help where needed, he certainly helped me out way back then. Thank you.
My condolences to Jean, Debbie and family.
Rest in peace Ken.
Vickie Lamb (You new me as Vickie Moisiuk back then)

Our hearts were broken when we heard that Ken had passed away and we could not be with you during this difficult time. We are so very thankful for all the fun times we have had over the years and will always treasure those memories. This world was a better place with Ken in it and he loved all of you so very much and was always a proud husband, dad and papa!
The memories and slide show that were shared at his service are a beautiful tribute to Ken and his legacy will carry on through all of you.
Sending you so much love today and always,

Dear Jean, Debbie and family,
We were saddened to hear of Ken's passing.
We're reminiscing of all our "canasta" games over the years.
Wishing you peace as you transition through the stages of grief, one day at a time, sometimes one minute at a time.
Wishing you moments of sunshine in your days, moments of laughter, as you recall memories.
Thinking of you with hope for a brighter day in the coming days and months and yes, even years.

To Jean and Family
We are deeply saddened and shocked to hear of Kens' passing. The community cannot thank you enough Jean, for allowing him to contribute as he did, to Lloydminster. It was the both of you that did all those years together.
He was a good listener, a better talker and loved what he did...connecting with people.
He will be truly missed by Kimberley and myself. He was the only one who could get away with calling my wife "Kimmy", including me as he was loved by all.

Jean and family please accept our condolences on Ken’s passing.
I talked with Ken less then a couple of weeks ago and he was still talking politics and concerned about his community as he usually was. Ken was a great example for myself and so many others in sensible community involvement and support and he was simply a great guy. He always took time to listen to anyone who approached him. His contributions to our community were many and his stamina amazing. Ken will be missed.
