Obituary of Mary Hale

Hale, Mary S. of Kitscoty, Alberta passed away suddenly at the Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on Tuesday, December 29 2020 at the age of 79. 

Mary will be dearly missed by: her husband, Ronald of 61 years; children, Deborah, Cindy (Wayne) and Darren (Sheila); grandchildren, Sasha, Carla, Shane and Tanya; sister, Vicky; and so many more.

Mary’s greatest gift was with people. She treasured so many friends in her life, showing love by insisting they come in for a visit, having food and coffee ready at the drop of a hat. Often, Mary reminisced of the days when her home was filled with people laughing, singing and playing cards. Her summers were spent tending to her flower gardens and watching the birds in her apple tree. Mary is now soaring like the birds, singing with the angels. 

There will be a memorial scheduled at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, which Mary would have cherished, donations may be made to Vermilion Hospital, 5720-50th Ave Vermillion AB T9X 1K7. The staff there are constantly and consistently providing love, support and care to the Hale family whenever needed. As well, a special thank you to “her girls” at the Vermillion Clinic, whom Mary loved dearly.
