I first met Rose in the mid-1970’s when she, Erv & a very young Tandea came to visit my folks in Blind Bay, BC. From day one, it was clear that Rose had an infectious, lively personality & laugh. She was witty, feisty & that laugh, she was so much fun to be with. When I first moved to Calgary, Rose & Erv took me in until I could get on my feet, so to speak. Over the years, Rose would invite me for dinner by saying, “we’re having roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy & german cabbage”. She knew it was my favourite & I couldn’t resist! We had many fabulous times visiting & carrying on… As life would have it, I moved back to BC and Rose & Erv moved to Blackfoot, AB. Even though our get-togethers became fewer over the years, the great memories of those earlier days remain & I can still hear that wonderful laugh. Rest In Peace, Rose. You will never be forgotten.
Love, Tim & Monica

Ervin being my cousin, we go away back. Memories are so many as we loaded our campers and trucks and a journey to Alaska. Tandea and her pet ,a beautiful white Husky accompanied us. We never passed by a gas station or gift shop. Fishing and camping were always on the agenda to Meadow Lake Park. One night Tandea and her Husky spent the night in a tent, a bear paid a visit. There some anxious moments. But they said nothing and all things turned out fine. We both had cabins at Turtlelake, more fishing and golfing. Rose and I did our best golfing, bouncing of huge rocks Peacocks on fairways doing there thing. After a good shot, cheering and clapping came from the bushes. We laughed and laughed. Dear Rose you will be so missed by your beautiful family, relatives and friends. So many hearts you have touched. God bless, may you rest in peace.

Ervin & Family, we are so very sorry for your loss. Rose was always such a joy to have around the golf course ... her willingness to golf in just about any condition was impressive, and far surpassed may others ... more than once her and Hazel would come in from the pouring rain, just to see if it wouldn't let up a little.
Her spirit and love of life will be remembered, we know how she so impacted our lives in knowing her through the Course, we can only imagine the loss felt now in those of the ones closest to her.
Our deepest condolences, from the Walker Family, and the team at Rolling Green Fairways, especially those that have been around for a long time, Jamie Johnson & Jaime Gaertner, we all chatted today of our memories of Rose and will think of her often.
