Our hearts go out to you, Lawrence, on the loss of Betty Ann to heaven. We know you will miss her.
Betty Ann was a longtime contributor of friendliness to people she met in Lloydminster. And that happy laugh and smile followed her wherever she went.
We will always recall you, Lawrence and Betty Ann coming to the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre to bring your mothers and others to the Sunday afternoon church service. Long after the moms had past away you were forfeiting your Sunday afternoon naps to come and make sure the others still got to church.
We trust you have felt God carrying you through this time of loss.

Oh, dear Lawrence--our dear ones are being called home one by one. Cam will have been one of the circle welcoming Betty Ann on the other side!!--they were classmates in Marwayne, and Cam had such fond memories of Betty Ann's helping him catch up with homework missed in the days and weeks he spent working on the farm in seedtime and harvest. She was always as kind and helpful as she is remembered by so many. In later years, we enjoyed good fellowship with you and Betty Ann, and I send you my deep sympathy, along with the prayer that you will know the deep Comfort and companionship of the Lord Jesus in these days as you learn to walk without Betty Ann at your side.

So very sorry Lawrence and family that your dear wife and mother has passed away. We met at Grace United while I was teaching CGIT . She was always cheerful and helpful. She had such a strong faith and was willing to help with our lessons when needed. Betty was like part of the comfortable furniture at the church, making all that came welcome. Now God has welcomed her home.

I would like to express my condolences to Lawrence and all of BettyAnn's family. Knowing BettyAnn--& her humor and hospitality-- and being able to spend time staying with her and Lawrence on my visits to Lloydminster was wonderful--I am very glad to have had that opportunity. On the lighter side, BettyAnn was also a great fan of Coronation Street TV program, which was fun to share.
Wishing Lawrence, and all who miss her, comfort, peace and strength from our LORD. We appreciate the gift of her earthly life.

Lawrence,
John and I want to convey our deepest sympathy on the loss of Betty Ann. She and I go way back to being members of the United Church youth groups. Some of her siblings were also members. Lawrence and family - you have been and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. I have such wonderful memories of Betty Ann's big friendly smile. She was a woman of faith. God certainly flowed his love and worked his purposes through her, even on her last day; before bringing her to her true home. She was such a wonderful lady and will be missed.
Sincere condolences & our love. Paul & Theresa Harris

In celebration of a beautiful life...
I will always cherish and remember my friendship with Betty Ann.
She was a long time family friend to Mom and Dad (George & Thelma Hastings) and was a familiar face on our farm while I was growing up whether it was picking fresh vegetables or just coming out for a visit.
I remember her as one of my first Sunday School teachers, singing with her in the Joy singers, being one of my daughters first babysitter’s years ago and sharing prayers with our family around my Mom in her final hours.
Every time I travelled back to Lloyd I was so excited to catch up with her and Lawrence.
She meant so much to all of us, but I know that she meant the world to you Lawrence.
Wishing you comfort during this dark time!
My memories will live on!

Lawrence and family, our deepest condolences during this very difficult time. I have many memories of walking up the block to to Betty Ann and Lawrence's- usually to deliver pies for the fair booth- with my grandma ( Eva Babb). Grandma loved trips out to the Davidson Cabin at Sandy Beach and always talked fondly of Betty Ann and Lawrence. They were always so good to my grandma and she always appreciated everything they did for her. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

We all have regrets. Mine is that I did not have an opportunity to have a meaningful visit with Betty Ann and Lawrence (one of my boyhood friends). I had not seen her for over 60 years when she came up to me and said do you remember me? This was at one of the Lloydminster Aniversary Celebrations. I very much remembered here from my Grade One class in Hazeldine. She was very instrumental in putting together a photo album of classmates to give to when I was departing for Winnipeg. She was kind and thoughtful at that very young age.
Lawrence my sincere condolences at your loss. Rest in peace Betty Ann.

Gone is another of the kids
I began school with in Marwayne back in about 54. Took me a while to recall her as its been about 60 years since school days. She was in the grade 8 class in the school across the street. A group of kids I always looked to as a student 4 years younger thru the year they graduated. Remember the boys as well and Benny. Condolences to the family anf her friends.
