Took us for an airplane ride! For me a thrill! Coming in for a landing the wind had us a little sideways but coming on track. Nothing bothered him of course. Business as usual. Always had a good conversation!! Well his work is over! Rest In Peace Jim!!

I am so sad to hear of Uncle Jim's passing. I wish I could be there to honor his life with you. Judy and family. Jim was always really good to me. I loved the Big J Esso station. Back in the 70's they had those NHL books. When dad gassed up he would get the stickers of different hockey players and then we could put them in our books or trade them with our buddies. Bobby Orr was really hard to get but that was so much fun. Big J was so different to now where everything is so impersonal. It was a place with nice people who were interested in you, the food was good and I loved to go there . What kids will have memories of loving to go to a service station today. Well done Jim. So very sorry Judy and family in the loss of your beloved husband and father ,grandfather and friend. We have so many fun and great memories of Jim. Seems like only yesterday we talked. He will be remembered with fondness and missed by us all. Sharon
Jim was always good to us kids. I remember once when Esso and A & W teamed up for a promotion. A & W gave all the Esso's the wrappers for teen burgers. Then you took the wrapper to the A & W and got a free teen burger. Jim would give dad a handful of wrappers and off we'd go for our free burger. Thanks for that memory Jim .
