Obituary of Arlene Born

Arlene Sylvia Born passed away at Pioneer House, Lloydminster, Alberta, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the age of 83 years.

Survived by: her children, Kathy (Brent) Smithson, Barb (Pat) Scott, Janet (Ethan) Cameron, Robert (Linda Crook), Judy (Ken) Anderson; grandchildren, Michael Beynon (April), Jaime Smithson (Chrissy), Brendon Smithson (Tara), Robyn Smithson (Chad), Johnny Ewan (Celeste), Krista Rawluk (Jeff), Paul St Louis (Pamela), Jake Scott, Stefani Warren (Koal), Adrian Born (Toni), Taylor Born, and Sydney Born; great-grandchildren,  Gracey and Conner Smithson, Layla and London Smithson, Devon and Dillon Born, Reagan and Talia Ewan, Ryder Wass, Jazzlyn, Lillian and Ashlyn Rawluk, Joey Scott, Rylee, Jaxson and Tanner Warren Siblings: Helen (Jim McMaster), Patricia Ducie, John Chyzyk (Cheryl), Jim Chyzyk (Dorothy); her in-laws, Gordon Waldner, Brian Carr, Diane Weber, Gladys Jack, Pete Born (Betty), Jim Born (Connie), Tom Born, Dennis Born (Fern), Doris Drysdale, Melvin Born, Ken Born (Pearl), Earl Born (Brenda); and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by: her loving husband, Jake; her parents, Peter Weber, Kathryn and Nick Chyzyk; her siblings, Mary, Doreen, Margaret and Stanley; her in-laws, Bill Born, Abe (Barb) Born, John (Eileen) Born, Betty (Harvey) Hodgins, Bob Jack, Gwen Born, Evelyn Born; and granddaughter, Aaryn Scott. 

A memorial service for Arlene will be held at a later date. 

Donations in memory of Arlene may be made to LRHF - Pioneer Lodge Comfort Fund or the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
