Evelyn was predeceased by: her loving husband, Frank; her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Weston; one infant daughter, Beverly Lynn; brother, Keith Weston; brother-in-law, Richard Spence; one infant grandson, Garrett Rogers; three nephews and three nieces.
Evelyn was born May 1, 1926 in Maidstone, SK. She lived in Lloydminster, SK from 1956 to 2015 before moving to Red Deer, AB to be closer to her adult children.
Evelyn’s life was devoted to family, friends, the Lloydminster United Church and the United Church Women (UCW). She enjoyed many years of travel with her husband Frank, sometimes out-of-country but most often traveling with their travel trailer. In this way, they visited family and friends across Western Canada, keeping the family ties fresh and enjoying visits with friends.
Evelyn lived the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22) expressing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. By her example, she provided a safe and loving environment for all she met in her life’s journey.
A private family visitation and remembrance was held at the Red Deer Funeral Home on June 26, 2021.
A future memorial will be held in Lloydminster, followed by a family internment ceremony at the Maidstone Cemetery. This may be delayed until 2022 due to current circumstances.
The family of the late Evelyn Tuplin would like to sincerely thank the staff of the Revera Aspen Ridge Retirement Resident for the love and care given to our dear Evelyn over the last six years.
