Obituary of Beatrice Sinfield

Beatrice Mary Sinfield passed away in White Rock, British Columbia, February 23, 2020, at the age of 104 years.

 

Beatrice Mary Reynolds was born October 4, 1915, in Nunebor, SK to parents, Edgar and Edith Reynolds, and grew up alongside her sister, Dorothy and three brothers, Charles, Wilfred and Jim.

 

Beatrice married Geoffrey Sinfield on October 25, 1934, in Nunebor, SK. They settled in the Lone Rock, SK area to farm and start a family. They had seven children: Patricia, Nicholas, Diana, William, Barbara, James and Donna. As Beatrice raised her family, she was an active member in the community and a dear friend to her neighbours. Together, she and Geoff worked hard to establish their farm. The farm life spanned many years and saw many changes, until they retired and moved full time to White Rock, BC in 1987. Family was a cornerstone in Beatrice's life as she saw her children grow and raise families of their own. She enjoyed her grandchildren and was delighted to see them start their own families as well. Beatrice was also a favorite aunt to her nieces and nephews and maintained close relationships with them throughout her life.

 

Beatrice is survived by: four children, Patricia Harrison, Diana Sinfield (Jim Newman), Bill (Patricia) Sinfield and Jim (Bernadette) Sinfield; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; all of her great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Beatrice is predeceased by: her husband, Geoffrey Sinfield; three children, Barbara, Nicholas and Donna; son-in-law, Bill Harrison; granddaughter, Sandra Pados; as well as her parents and siblings.

 

A Graveside Interment for Beatrice will be held at Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 2:00 PM with a lunch to be held at Lone Rock Hall following the interment.

 

Donations in memory of Beatrice may be made to donor's charity of choice.
