Violet Gertrude Erb passed away peacefully on March 24, 2010 at the age of 74 years at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Home.
Violet was born October 9, 1935 on the farm at St. Walburg, Saskatchewan to Ole and Elizabeth Johnson. She will be sadly missed by her husband Howard of 53 years. Her children Dale Erb, Sheila (John) Graham, Ivan (Sharon) Erb, Dwayne (Debbie) Erb, Terry (Raymond) Benson-Bellmond. 9 Grandchildren Tammy, Ryan (Rochelle), Regan (Aaron) Graham, Shaun, Darcee (Ryan), Scott Erb, Bryce, Ty, Shae Benson-Bellmond and Bryce Erb. 1 great grandson, Hunter Ryan Graham. She is also survived by brothers Bill (Irene) Johnson, Gus (Lois) Johnson, George (Bev) Johnson. 2 sisters Louise (Gale) Gerbig and Lorraine Steiger. Sisters-in-law Eileen, Evelyn, Margaret (Ken) Jorjdet. Brothers-in-law: Dick (Lil) Erb and Eugene Erb.
She was predeceased by her parents Ole and Elizabeth Johnson, infant daughter Teresa, Brothers, Hans, Ole and Carl. Sisters-in-law Shirley Johnson, Enid Johnson, brother-in-law Bob Steiger and nephew Dennis Johnson.
Donations in memory of Violet may be made to the Dr. Cooke Patient Comfort Fund.
