Obituary of Leonard Hardes

Leonard John Hardes passed away at Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta, August 24, 2021 at the age of 82 years.

Leonard is survived by: his loving wife, Adella; two daughters, Shelly (Blaine) Harland and Judy (Ken) Hougham; son, Darrel (Tracy) Hardes; six grandchildren, Jill (Josh) LaClare, Bethany Harland (Tanner Levorson), Matthew (Christa) Hougham, Samuel Hougham, Chantelle Hardes and Taylor Hardes; one great grandchild, Hazel LaClare; sisters, Darlene Lyon, Lorna (Alan) Chambers, Linda (Ed) Lorenz; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Leonard is predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph and Mary Hardes; grandson, Chad Harland; brother, Vernon Hardes; and brother-in-law, Norbert Oster.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Leonard will be conducted from Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, the mass will be live streamed and posted on the McCaw Funeral Service website under Leonard's obituary at time of mass. Should there be a poor connection, a recording of the mass will be uploaded after the service.

Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to Dr. Cooke Ladies Auxiliary or donor's charity of choice.
