Obituary of Leona Kapfhamer

BIOGRAPHY KAPFHAMER ~ Leona Mary Kapfhamer passed away at her home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the age of 63 years. Leona will be sadly missed by her children: Shelley Simao and children: Sean and Megan Simao; Cherry Kapfhamer and Neal Tindall, Connie Kapfhamer, Trent and Holly Kapfhamer and their children: Jaxon and Talyn as well as brothers: Norman and Marjorie Farstad and Richard and Sheila Farstad. Leona was predeceased by her mother and father, Bessie and Alfred Farstad. The funeral service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Allan Young officiating. The soloist was Brock Ashby singing "Farewell Party". The hymn sung was "Amazing Grace" accompanied on the organ by Jeanette Young. The honorary pallbearers were Debbie & Wayne Williams, Edie Thompson & Clarence Mullaly, Pat & Ken Setter and All Her Special Friends. The active pallbearers were Dwaine Graham, Layne Husch, Mark Ashlee, Michael Heidinger, Neal Tindall. Interment will be held in Estevan, Saskatchewan at a later date. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Leona Kapfhamer would like to thank Reverend Allan Young for conducting the funeral service, Brock Ashby and Jeanette Young for the special music and the Knox Presbyterian Goodwill Group for the wonderful lunch they provided for the service. A special thank you to Deb and Wayne Williams and everyone who sent flowers, brought food to the house, made donations and sent cards.
