Obituary of Jim Highton

James Robert Highton passed away at Pioneer House, Lloydminster, Alberta, September 8, 2021 at the age of 79 years.

Jim is survived by: his loving wife of 43 years, Marilyn; siblings, Lillian Ross, Dorothy Hartel, Hazel Pooler, Fred (Bernice) Highton, Freda Gerhardt, Judy Closen, Lloyd (Germaine) Highton, Harvey (Brenda) Highton, Albert (Shirley) Highton, Harry (Rosina) Highton, Dianne (Ben) Pischke and Barbara Shoaf; sister-in-law, Jo Klassen as well as numerous others; and many nieces and nephews.

Jim is predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Margaret Highton; baby brother, Charles; sisters, Rose, Darlene Dumont, Mary Porochnavy and baby Marjorie.

The Graveside Service for Jim will be conducted from Lashburn Cemetery, Lashburn, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Due to weather conditions, the service will now be held at the Lashburn Drop-in Centre.

Donations in memory of Jim may be made to Canadian Cancer Foundation or Pioneer House Patient Comfort Fund.
