Obituary of Katie Isaaks

Katherine “Katie” Isaaks passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 102 years.

Katie is lovingly remembered by: her daughter, Marilyn Posein; daughter-in-law, Carey Peabody; grandchildren, Joanne Posein, Michael Posein, James (Evie) Isaaks and her grandson Scott’s wife, Denise Posein; great grandchildren, Benjamin (Caitlin) Posein, Leah Davidson, Cassandra Posein, Jordan Posein, Indra Isaaks, Austin Posein, Darcy Teal and Sheldon Teal; great-great grandchildren, Ella, Eric, Deacon and Emery; sisters, Martha Wiebe and Frieda Andem.

Katie is predeceased by: her husband, Abram; her son, Edward; her grandson, Scott Posein; her granddaughter, Caroline Isaaks; parents, Aron and Elizabeth Wiebe; her sister, Lucy; her brother, Aaron Wiebe; her son-in-law, Larry Posein.

A Celebration of Life for Katie will be held from Southridge Community Church, Lloydminster, Alberta  on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at 10:30 AM.

Donations in memory of Katie may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
