Obituary of George Nelson

George Nelson passed away from natural causes at Dr. James W. Hemstock Assisted Living, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at the age of 64 years.

George is survived by: his two sisters, Marilyn Hoegl (Ken Kay) and Sheila Nelson; nieces and nephews, JoAnn (Kevin) Lider, Shari (Nick) Garnier, Colleen Hoegl (Dean), Murry (Lynette) Hoegl, Cathy (Gary) Paltzat, Sandy (Rob) Maksymic, Christine (Don) Neurauter and Harry (Janelle) Blumenschein and their families; numerous other family and friends, including all of his Hemstock family. 
 
George was predeceased by: his parents, Archie and Evelyn Nelson; sister, Joy Blumenschein; brothers-in-law, John Hoegl and Norman Blumenschein; and nephew, Curtis Devereux.

The Celebration of Life for George will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service which will be posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under George's obituary at the time of the service.
