Heather and Betty Anne and family. I am so sorry to hear of Neil's passing. I met Neil nearly 35 yrs ago. We were next door business neighbors and i couldn't have asked for a better neighbor. Always kind and willing to have a little visit. He hired my son for awhile to help move furniture after school. Terry thought the world of him and couldn't say enough good things about him as a boss. Even though Terry was a school kid he treated him with respect and kindness and always made him feel that he was the greatest help.
Neil the world needs more people like you. Rest Peacefully now as journey to your final destination.

I met Neil 5 years ago in March. It was a snowy, blizzardy day and I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of the Servus Center. I was crying as I had just found out some distressing news from my doctor. I looked up and I saw an elderly man trying to get into his car with no luck. I got out to help him and he said he had lost his keys. I offered to drive him home. We proceeded to have a nice conversation as I drove him to get a spare set of keys. I told him I would wait for him and drive him back to his car. Well to make a long story short, we ended up talking quite a while and he cheered me up. I was glad I was able to help him out that day.
My mother later told me that she thought God sent me Neil that day to help me feel better and that God sent me to help Neil out. It worked both ways!
I later found out Neil was a good friend to my Grandpa Roydon. He ended up coming out to our farm quite a bit after that for coffee so I got to know him a lot better.
I will never forget him.
