Obituary of Bob Marshall
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Reed Marshall, born on December 24, 1957, passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on March 5, 2022 at the age of 64 years.
Bob's life will be celebrated, and his memory kept alive by: sisters, Kristine (Alf) Niekamp of Lloydminster, SK and Susan Marshall of Kelowna, BC; brother, Ross Marshall of Saskatoon, SK; nieces, Amanda Ring (Jack), Kira Ring, Kelsie Ring, Aimee Rodgers (Brad) all of Yorkton, SK, Brenna Rodgers and Colton Rodgers; dear friends, Gary (Maria) Scott; as well as numerous cousins.
Bob was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Joyce Marshall from Humboldt, SK.
Bob was an avid SCUBA Master and Instructor and travelled the world diving and teaching. He settled in Phuket, Thailand for many years and survived the Thailand Tsunami. His love of teaching diving benefited many students over the years and his greatest accomplishment was teaching his father to dive. He was always in awe of underwater life and had the opportunity to see many different species, including whale sharks, which he was fascinated by.
Bob returned to Canada 10 years ago and found his new career, with Home Depot, where he made lifelong friends and co-workers. He loved to help folks with their building projects and went above and beyond to make sure all their needs were met.
In keeping with Bob's wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
