CAMMIDGE ~ Lois Janet Cammidge (Newport-Larsen) passed away peacefully in the St. Paul's Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Friday, February 10, 2012 at the age of 88 years. Lois will be sadly missed by her five children: Wayne and Peggy Newport and their two children: Luke and Tricia Newport (Jace & Dane) and Monica Newport; Janet Newport and Robert Russell; Meredith and Brian Rutherford and their two children: Mitchell Rutherford and Bryce Rutherford; Sandy and Tim Weinkauf and their two children: Dustin Weinkauf and Ashley Roebuck (Sierra) and Colin Weinkauf and Riki-Lee Hesterman; Rob and Rhonda Cammidge and their three children: Carl Cammidge, Courtney Cammidge, Carter Cammidge; sister Merle and John Webster; one sister-in-law Terry Gimby as well as numerous other relatives. Lois was predeceased by her first husband Gordon Newport and her second husband Roy Cammidge. The funeral service for Lois was conducted from the Neilburg Community Hall, Neilburg, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Mr. Tom Poppleton officiating. The Neilburg Community Choir was in attendance. The hymns sung were "On Eagles Wings", "In The Garden" and "Shall We Gather At The River" accompanied on the organ by Hazel Wiens. The honorary pallbearers were All Those Who Shared In Mom's Life. The active pallbearers were her grandchildren. The interment was held in the Neilburg Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in Unity and St. Paul's Hospitals for the care and compassion shown to our mother. Thank you to Aunt Gimby for opening up her home to the entire family so we had a place to stay so we could be with Mom. To the Marsden/Neilburg Community Choir, Hazel Wiens for playing, Tom Poppleton for the very nice service, Mark and Mona Gimby for the musical selections and John Webster for the touching eulogy, and the Grandchildren for being Pallbearers. The Neilburg Hall Club for the lunch and McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., for handling the arrangements. The kind words, hugs, food, flowers, donations and cards were overwhelming and very much appreciated. We are forever grateful. In lieu of individual Thank You cards, a donation will be made to the Neilburg Rec Board in memory of Lois. Lois' Family Donations in memory of Lois may be made to the Neilburg United Church or to the Neilburg Recreation Board.
