Obituary of Dora Fitzpatrick

Dora Fitzpatrick passed away at Vermilion Health Centre, Vermilion, Alberta, April 14, 2022 at the age of 96 years.

 

Dora is survived by: her five children, Elaine (Jim), Lyle (Donna), Kathy (Marty), Terry (Greg), Myrna (Carey); nine grandchildren, Scott (Amanda) Fitzpatrick, Kelly Fitzpatrick, Craig (Tammy) Fitzpatrick, Aaron Miller, Ashleigh (Khal) Rabi, Courtney (Ian) Clark, Bryce (Carla) Meiklejohn, Julie (Alex) Kraus and Kevin (Jordan) Kraus; fourteen great grandchildren, Quaid, Connor, Kamdyn, Saylar, Deklan, Rylan, Finn, Andre, Alexandra, Arthur, Brody, Logan, Layla and Noura; sister, Freda Grey; brother, Bob Hissett; sisters-in-law, Audrey Hissett and Pearl Read; brother-in-law, Ivan Fitzpatrick; and extended family members, Wendy Spicer, Ron Spicer and Rhea (Brent) Maxwell.

 

Dora is predeceased by: her husband, Gordon Fitzpatrick; special friend, Herb Spicer; daughter-in-law, Audrey; and her parents, Richard and Matilda Hissett.

 

As per Dora's wishes, a Private Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

 

Donations in memory of Dora may be made to Dewberry Cemetery, Vermilion Health Centre, Vermilion Lodge or donor's charity of choice.
