Obituary of Durold Textor

Durold Frederick Textor passed away at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan, August 18, 2022 at the age of 78 years.

Durold Frederick Textor was born September 19th 1943 in the Turtleford Hospital to Alec and Betty Textor. He was later joined by his brother Wynn. On July 5, 1965 he married the love of his life Dorothy Morgan and together they raised three children Regan, Marilyn and Steven. Durold loved farming, with his family at his side it was a lifestyle he thoroughly enjoyed.  Durold was very involved in his community with a special interest in his church and the Turtleford Coop where he spent 50 years as a director.  Durold enjoyed curling and in later years shuffleboard.  He loved travelling, seeing new places and making new friends. His grandchildren and their antics were a great delight to him and he loved them all dearly.

Left to cherish his memory are: his wife, and partner in all things, Dorothy; three children, Regan and his wife, Sarah and their children, Tristan and Hannah:  Marilyn and her husband, Trevor Whelan and their children, Braden, Chantal and Katrina: Steven and his wife Carmel, and their children, Alex and Ben; brother, Wynn and his wife Bev and their family, Michael and his wife Cindy and daughter, Samantha; aunts, Irene and Ruby; in-laws, Tom (Lillian) Morgan and Margaret (Ken) McKechney.

The Memorial Service for Durold will be conducted from Turtleford Good Shepherd United Anglican Church, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 2:00 PM.

Donations in memory of Durold may be made to Turtleford Good Shepherd United Anglican Church or Camp Okema.
